dither is a task management app. This policy explains what happens to your data when you use it — in short: it stays on your device, and we don't collect it.
All the content you create in dither — to-dos, notes, pages, tags, and your app settings — is stored locally on your device in a private database. We do not operate any server that receives or stores this data, and we do not have access to it.
If you choose to enable sync, you point dither at a folder on a storage service you already control (for example Google Drive, Dropbox, or a local folder shared by Syncthing). dither writes its data into that folder using your device's normal file-access permissions. That data is then subject to whichever service you chose to store it in — we do not run the sync service ourselves and never see this data pass through anything we operate.
dither offers a one-time in-app purchase to unlock the full app after a trial period. Purchases are handled entirely by Google Play's billing system. We do not collect or store your payment details, and we only receive confirmation that a purchase was completed, which is used solely to unlock the app on your device.
Reminders you set in dither are scheduled locally on your device using your operating system's notification system. No reminder content or scheduling data is sent to us or to any third party.
dither does not include any analytics, advertising, or tracking software. We do not collect usage data, device identifiers, or any other information about how you use the app.
Because we do not collect any data from you, there is nothing for us to share with third parties.
dither is not directed at children and is not designed to collect any information from anyone, including children.
If dither's data practices change in the future, this page will be updated to reflect that, and the "Last updated" date above will change accordingly.
